Temperatures range between 13 and 15 °C. It is worth noting that in the Sacred Valley the temperature is around 19 °C.

The Dry Season from April to October
Locals in Cusco consider the dry season to run from April, when the rains begin to subside, through October. The weather during this period is dry, although intermittent rain showers can occasionally occur. During this time, days are relatively warm with an average temperature of 17 to 19 °C.
When to Visit Cusco?
The answer depends on what you want to do during your visit to Cusco. If you wish to go trekking, traveling during the rainy season is not recommended because heavy rains often cause trail closures.
One advantage of traveling during this period is finding promotional fares at great prices. Likewise, hotels cost less. If you decide to visit during these months, don’t forget to pack appropriate rain gear.
If you don’t mind getting a little wet, during this season Cusco and Machu Picchu look truly stunning thanks to the deep, lush greenery of the vegetation.
On the other hand, while it is more comfortable to travel during the dry season, you will face higher prices not only for flights and hotels, but for almost everything, as high season causes costs to rise across the board. Furthermore, due to high demand, Machu Picchu tickets, train tickets, hotels, and tour guides sell out quickly. Needless to say, they must be booked well in advance.
What Should I Bring?
If you come during the dry season, bring a sun hat, cap, sunglasses, insect repellent (for when you visit Machu Picchu), and warm clothing, as nights get chilly.
If you decide to come during the rainy season, don’t forget to pack waterproof clothing, an umbrella, and rain footwear. Also, do not forget sun protection (sun hat or cap, sunscreen, sunglasses).
