They are unmissable places to visit during your trip.

Sacsayhuaman
This complex was probably of religious, political and military use at the same time. In Quechua Sacsayhuaman means “satisfy yourself hawk”. The hawk was a totemic bird for the Incas. However, the word sacsa also means mottled, so some interpret it as “mottled hawk”.
Qenqo
Qenqo means Zigzag in Quechua. At the dawn of the winter solstice in Peru, on June 21, the stony protrusions of Qenko light up, forming the face of a puma, an Inca deity.
Tambomachay
Tambomachay was a ceremonial complex related to fertility, it also had rooms with fine finishes, where the Inca and his entourage stayed. Tambomachay has many water fountains, where fertility rites were performed. It is noteworthy that its aqueducts supply water to the complex throughout the year.
Puca Pucara
The original name of Puca Pucara is unknown. The construction has a lower finish than other Inca buildings, so it is speculated that it served military functions, guarding the Baths of Tambomachay.
